mens weekend

This past men’s retreat a couple of weeks ago was so amazing. Whenever anyone asks, I always tell them that it was full of testosterone but there was much more than just that; there was trekking through the middle of nowhere, there was fellowship, and most importantly God was there.
Well, obviously, God was there, he's omnipresent. but the speaker bob Vernon spoke pretty much on male leadership over a pretty rounded off "everything a man needs to know to be a man" seminar: spiritual maturity, relationship leader, and evangelism. Doesn’t that cover it all or what? Every man walked away challenged, and my personal prayer is that no one walked away from that weekend forgetting what they got out of it. Otherwise, why have gone at all. His challenge to us to be Godly men’s didn't come in the form of a question, it was through the stories he told and the godliness you could see in his life. Bob Vernon was truly a walking testimony to us all. Oswald chambers wrote about how we can be so much of a friend with God that our every move is without a doubt walking in his will.
